You need to go to Control Panel -> Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Global Settings -> Preferred graphics processor -> High-performance NVIDIA processor. And for all of you who have the same problem, here's how to fix it.

Please reply a solution/fix below! I hope it helps. but it seems like Valve has scammed my money.

I paid for that game! I deserve to play that. Anybody know how to fix or at least give me a solution so I can play Dead Space 2 that I have bought. So, I clicked 'Play' again and it shows me the same thing over and over again. I entered the correct key and it says 'Activation Successful' and nothing happened. Then, another thing popped-out and asked me for the activation key. Whenever I attempt to play Dead Space 2, a pop-up saying something like 'Performing First Time Setup - Installing: Activation Manager' was shown. Dead Space 1 was pretty fine until I started to play Dead Space 2, things started to happen. I installed both the games and played Dead Space 1. Recently, I have purchased Dead Space pack on a sale.
